Westcliff on Sea - St Barbaras, St Phanourios & St Paul

Locked no keyholder. Originally dedicated to St Paul alone the church fell in to disrepair and was declared redundant in 2002. In 2004 the building was sold to the Greek Orthodox Church who restored it and rededicated it. Built at the turn of the last century (date unknown but c. 1903) I thought this red brick building with its four square tower was good of its time - I liked it.
